After a welcome address by George Hall, the presentation of conference papers, chaired by David Roe, of new research on under-documented old mines, included : Brynyrafr, Esgairmwyn, Abbey Consols and environs and the Tywyn coal mine, together with new insights on prospecting and smelting matters.
